When do you need a speaker cable?
A speaker cable connects your audio amplifier to your speakers and carries the audio signal. You need this cable when you are installing a stereo system, home cinema system or PA system where the amplifier and speakers are at a distance from each other.

Pay attention to the conductor material
This cable uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) as its conductor material instead of solid copper. CCA cables are lighter and cheaper than pure copper cables, but have slightly higher resistance. For shorter distances and normal listening volumes this makes no audible difference, but over very long distances or at high power levels, pure copper may perform better.
