When do you need a fibre optic cable?
This LWL patch cable is essential for connecting fibre optic equipment in data centres and FTTX networks. You need this cable when you have to make high-speed data connections over longer distances without signal loss, for example between switches, routers or fibre optic modems.

Why a 50 metre singlemode cable?
With a length of 50 metres, this cable gives you the flexibility to connect equipment that is further apart, for example in large server rooms or between different floors. The OS2 singlemode fibre ensures you maintain optimal signal strength over this distance for professional applications.

SC to LC connectors for maximum compatibility
The combination of SC simplex and LC simplex connectors makes this cable suitable for many different devices. SC connectors are often found on older equipment and wall sockets, while LC connectors are standard on modern switches and transceivers. This way you can easily connect different generations of equipment with each other.

Practical benefits for intensive use
The yellow cable colour and green connectors make identification easy in busy cable trays. The 2 mm diameter keeps the cable flexible and saves space. Most importantly, every cable is supplied with a test protocol that confirms its quality and performance, which is essential for professional installations where reliability is crucial.
