This Cat.7 installation cable on the drum gives you 500 metres of reliable cabling for stable network connections up to 1,000 MHz. The LSZH sheath provides extra safety in the event of fire, ideal for professional installations.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need Cat.7 installation cable?
You use Cat.7 installation cable for laying professional network infrastructure in business premises, offices or data centres. This cable is intended for permanent installation in walls, ceilings or cable trays where you need reliable network connections up to 1,000 MHz. You choose installation cable when you are laying an entirely new network or replacing existing cabling.
Why choose a 500 metre reel?
The 500 metre reel is ideal for medium-sized to large installation jobs where you need to pull long cable runs without intermediate connections. With this length you can cable entire floors or parts of a building from a single central location. The reel allows the cable to be unwound neatly without kinks or damage during pulling.
Shielding against interference
This cable has PIMF shielding (Pairs in Metal Foil), which means each wire pair is individually shielded against electromagnetic interference. This shielding is essential in environments with a lot of electronic equipment, fluorescent lighting or other sources of interference. The shielding ensures stable data transmission, even at higher frequencies up to 1,000 MHz.
Fire safety and installation requirements
The cable complies with Euroclass D fire rating with an LSZH outer sheath, meaning it produces little smoke and no toxic gases in the event of a fire. With a diameter of 7.5 mm, this cable fits standard cable trays and conduits. The orange colour makes identification easier during installation and meets the professional colour coding for network cabling.
