When do you need a Cat. 5e network cable?
You use a Cat. 5e network cable to connect devices such as computers, printers or switches to each other via a wired network. This 2-metre cable is ideal for short distances within office environments, for example to connect your desktop computer to a network switch or router located nearby.

Why choose foil shielding?
This F/UTP cable has foil shielding, which means it is better protected against electromagnetic interference than a standard UTP cable. This is especially valuable in office environments with a lot of electronic equipment, such as photocopiers, fluorescent lighting or other network cables that may cause interference.

Reliable connection thanks to gold-plated contacts
The RJ45 connectors are fitted with gold-plated contacts, which prevent corrosion and ensure a stable network connection over a longer period. The moulded housing around the connectors offers extra protection against mechanical stress. The grey strain relief boot prevents the cable from breaking at the connection.

Practical use and storage
With its length of 2 metres, this cable is perfect for desktop setups where you have limited space. The 1:1 wiring means that both ends are wired identically, so you can use the cable in either direction. The cable is supplied in a poly bag and has clear printing showing the category and cable type for easy identification.
