When do you need a short network cable?
This Cat. 6 S/FTP cable, 0.25 metres long, is ideal for short connections between network components. You use it, for example, to connect a switch to a router, or to link equipment in a rack over a short distance. The short length prevents unnecessary cable clutter and ensures a tidy installation.

Why choose shielded Cat. 6?
This cable has S/FTP shielding with PIMF technology, which means each wire pair is individually shielded against electromagnetic interference. The Cat. 6 specification guarantees reliable data transmission for modern network applications. The shielding is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment that can cause interference.

Durable construction for professional use
The cable has gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and ensure a stable connection. The LSZH sheath produces less smoke and toxic gases when heated, which is important for safety in office environments. The moulded housing and short strain relief protect the connections against mechanical stress.

Practical installation tip
Note the 1:1 wiring (belegung): this means the wires are connected identically at both ends of the cable, which is standard for network cables. The cable is suitable for all standard network ports with RJ45 connections. Keep the cable dry and avoid sharp bends to preserve the internal wire structure.
