When do you need a Cat. 6A network cable?
A Cat. 6A S/FTP network cable is used to connect computers, switches, routers and other network equipment to one another. This cable is suitable for professional network environments where you need stable and fast data connections. The 1.0 metre length makes this cable ideal for short connections between devices that are close together.

Why choose the shielded S/FTP version?
This cable has PIMF (Pair in Metal Foil) shielding that blocks electromagnetic interference. This is essential in office environments with a lot of electrical equipment that can cause interference. The shielded RJ45 connectors provide complete shielding of the entire connection, preventing signal loss.

Sustainable materials and a reliable connection
The cable has copper conductors with AWG 26/7 specification and gold-plated contacts in the connectors. These gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion and ensure a stable connection over a longer period of time. The LSZH sheath produces less smoke and toxic gases when heated, which is safer in office environments.

Practical details for installation
The orange colour of the cable boot helps you recognise this specific connection in your network cabinet. The cable has 1:1 wiring, meaning both ends are wired identically. The moulded connectors offer extra protection against damage from frequent use. Always check that your network equipment supports Cat. 6A to get the best possible performance.
