When do you need a Cat 6A network cable?
A Cat 6A network cable is used for professional network connections where you need fast and stable data transmission. This type of cable is suitable for modern network equipment such as switches, routers and servers that require higher speeds than standard Cat 5e cables can deliver.

Why choose a 40 metre length?
At 40 metres, this cable bridges long distances within office buildings or between different rooms. This length is ideal when you need to connect equipment on different floors or when the network cabinet is far from the workstation. You don't need to join several shorter cables together, which prevents signal loss.

What does S/FTP shielding mean?
The S/FTP shielding (geschirmd PIMF) protects against electromagnetic interference from other devices in the environment. This double shielding keeps your network connection stable, even in environments with a lot of electronic equipment such as printers, copiers or air conditioning. The gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion and ensure a durable connection.

Practical installation features
The LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) produces less smoke and no toxic gases when heated, which is important in office environments. The moulded RJ45 connectors with white boots protect against cable breakage when bending. The cable has a 1:1 pin layout, which means both ends are wired identically and are compatible with all standard network equipment.
