When do you need an outdoor network cable?
This Cat 6A S/FTP cable has been specially developed for outdoor network applications. You choose this type of cable when you need a stable internet connection between buildings, from house to shed, or for outdoor cameras and Wi-Fi access points. The cable is shielded against electromagnetic interference and weather conditions.

Why exactly 50 metres and Cat 6A quality?
At 50 metres in length, this cable bridges considerable distances without signal loss. Cat 6A supports speeds up to 500 MHz, which is more than sufficient for modern internet connections and future expansions. The S/FTP shielding ensures you maintain a stable signal even over longer distances, even near other electrical equipment.

Resistant to weather and wind
The combination of PE and PVC in the cable jacket makes this cable UV-resistant and oil-resistant in accordance with IEC60811 standards. The cable is also splashproof, so rain and moisture pose no problem. The operating temperature range of -40 to +65 degrees ensures the cable functions in all Dutch weather conditions.

Important installation tip
Please note: this cable is not suitable for underground installation. Always plan your installation above ground, for example along facades, under gutters or through cable trays. The gold-plated contacts ensure optimal signal transmission, and because the cable is supplied without a boot, you can fit the desired RJ45 connectors yourself or have them installed by a specialist.
