Discover marbling without the fuss with this set of 6 colours. You can get started straight away on glass, wood, fabric and more, and your creation will be dry within 15 minutes.
When do you choose this product?
What is marbling paint and when do you need it?
Marbling paint creates the classic marble effect on various materials by letting colours float on water and drawing objects through them. You use this technique when you want to create unique, artistic patterns on items such as Easter eggs, candles, vases or decorative objects. Marbling gives each item its own marble structure that will never be repeated.
Why this set of 6 colours is the right choice
This Marabu set contains six carefully selected colours: medium yellow, ruby red, sap green, white, black and azure blue. With this colour combination you can create both warm and cool marbling effects and produce richly varied marble patterns.
How the solvent base works
The paint is developed on a solvent base, so it is dry after approximately 15 minutes. This means you can finish your projects quickly without long waiting times. Once dry, you can wipe away any smudges with a damp cloth, but the end result is not washfast or dishwasher-safe. This property makes the paint suitable for decorative applications, not for items that are washed regularly.
Suitable for these materials
The paint adheres to plastic eggs and baubles, glass, acrylic glass, wood, papier-mâché, blown eggs, candles, metal, polystyrene, paper, Japanese paper, fabrics and silk. Make sure you only use unvarnished objects, as the paint does not adhere well to varnished surfaces. For the best results, combine the paint with special marbling base.
