What is marbling paint and when do you use it?
You use marbling paint to create a natural marble effect on various materials. With Marabu Easy Marble in cherry red, you give objects a decorative marble structure using the dropping technique or marbling on marbling ground. This technique is ideal for personalising items or making unique decorative pieces.

Why choose this solvent-based variant?
This marbling paint is solvent-based, so you get a dry result in approximately 15 minutes. The quick drying time makes it suitable for projects where you want to apply multiple layers or colours without long waiting times. Once dry, you can easily wipe away any splashes with a damp cloth.

Important properties of this paint
The paint is not rinse-proof and not washable, which means the result is decorative in nature and not suitable for items that are washed regularly. The product works exclusively on unvarnished surfaces, so make sure your material has no protective varnish layer before you start marbling.

Compatibility and material advice
This marbling paint adheres to a wide range of materials: plastic eggs and balls, glass, acrylic glass, wood, papier-mâché, blown eggs, candles, metal, polystyrene foam, paper, Japanese paper, fabrics and silk. The 15 ml paint is sufficient for smaller projects and for trying out the marbling technique on different materials.
