When do you need a flat brush?
A flat brush is indispensable for painting straight lines, flat areas and precision work where you need control over the application of paint. You use this brush when working with acrylic, oil or watercolour paint, where the flat shape ensures an even distribution of paint over the surface.

Why choose size 4?
Size 4 gives you the ideal balance between precision and coverage. This medium-sized brush is versatile enough for both detail work and filling smaller areas. You have enough control for accurate lines, but can also work efficiently when colouring larger surfaces.

Advantages of hog bristles
The hog bristles of this brush are particularly resilient and retain their shape even after intensive use. These natural fibres take up paint well and release it gradually, resulting in an even layer of paint. Thanks to their firmness, they are suitable for various painting techniques and surfaces.

Practical construction features
The unvarnished wooden handle sits comfortably in your hand and absorbs any moisture, so you maintain your grip while working. The seamless aluminium ferrule ensures the bristles stay firmly in place and prevents paint from seeping into the joint. This considerably extends the lifespan of your brush.
