This is why Dex likes this article
This handy sieve with fine polyester mesh is just as at home in your commercial kitchen as it is in the home. The sturdy plastic grip sits comfortably in the hand, and the 18 cm diameter is ideal for everyday use.
When do you choose this product?
When do you use a medium-mesh sieve?
A medium-mesh plastic sieve is used for sifting dry ingredients such as flour, icing sugar or cocoa powder, and for draining pasta, rice or vegetables. With a diameter of 18 cm, this sieve offers enough space for household portions without taking up too much workspace.
Why choose this size?
The 18 cm diameter makes this sieve ideal for everyday kitchen tasks in the home. The size is large enough for preparing meals for 2-4 people, yet compact enough to store easily in kitchen drawers or cupboards.
Advantages of the medium-mesh polyester mesh
The medium-mesh polyester mesh strikes the right balance between sieving power and flow. This mesh type retains larger particles while liquids and fine powders pass through easily. Polyester is more durable than metal mesh and less prone to rust or discolouration.
Practical features of the plastic design
The PP handle with PS mesh construction keeps the sieve lightweight and easy to clean. Plastic sieves are dishwasher safe and do not react with acidic ingredients such as lemon juice or tomatoes. The white colour makes it easy to see when the sieve is clean, and stains remain clearly visible for thorough cleaning.
