What does this wiper do?

A windscreen wiper keeps your view clear through the windscreen in rain, snow or dirt. The MICHELIN Multi Fit Set MF5555 consists of two flat beam wipers of 550 mm each, including adapter, so you can fit the set straight away without ordering extra parts.

Why choose a flat beam wiper?

Unlike traditional wipers with a metal frame, a flat beam wiper has no hinges or loose connections. This makes the blade stiffer along its entire length, so the wiper contacts the windscreen more evenly. This design also contributes to lower air lift and less aerodynamic drag at higher driving speeds.

Honest about the aerodynamic design

The aerodynamic shape of this wiper is aimed at reducing air resistance while driving. The advantage is that the wiper lifts less at speed and works more quietly compared with conventional frames. The result is more even contact with the glass and a calmer experience in rain on the motorway.

Practical tip for fitting

The set is supplied with an adapter, which makes it suitable for various attachment systems on a wide range of cars. Before buying, do check that 550 mm is the correct size for your vehicle, as the size varies by car make and model. Consult your car's handbook or use a compatibility tool for this. After fitting, keep the supplied adapter in a safe place so you can possibly reuse it when replacing the wipers next time.
