What do these wiper blades do and when do you need them?

Wiper blades wear out over time, which shows up as streaks, a squeaking noise or poor water clearance. The MICHELIN Multi Fit Set MF6050 consists of two flat wiper blades of 500 and 600 mm and is intended as a replacement for the front and rear or both front windscreens of your car, depending on the application.

Why choose flat wiper blades?

Unlike traditional wiper blades with a metal frame, this model has a joint-free wiper blade. This means there are no moving parts in the blade that can jam or wear out. The aerodynamic design also reduces air resistance, which makes a difference in contact between the blade and the windscreen at higher speeds.

Silent and even cleaning result

A common complaint with cheaper wiper blades is a squeaking or juddering noise while wiping. The aerodynamic construction of this blade is specifically designed for a silent and even result across the full length of the wiper. That is welcome when you use your wipers a lot, such as during prolonged rain or snowfall.

Practical tip: check the adapter and size before fitting

The set comes with an adapter, which allows fitting to different connector types. Before purchasing, do check that the sizes 500 mm and 600 mm match the lengths required for your car. You can find this information in your vehicle's manual or via the manufacturer's size chart. Fit the correct length to the correct arm, as the driver's side and passenger's side usually differ in length.
