When do you need a long wooden ruler?
A 500 mm ruler is indispensable when you need to draw longer straight lines or measure large distances accurately. This size is ideal for technical drawing, architectural projects, craftwork and educational use where standard 30 cm rulers fall short.

Why choose this 50 cm size?
With a length of 500 mm, this ruler offers the perfect balance between usability and manageability. You can work comfortably with it on A3 format and larger drawings, while it remains practical enough to store on your desk or in a drawer.

Advantages of beech wood with metal inlay
The untreated beech wood provides a natural grip and prevents slipping during use. The metal inlay ensures that the millimetre markings stay sharp and accurate for years, even with intensive use. Beech is naturally a hard wood that is well resistant to wear.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store this wooden ruler in a dry environment to prevent warping. Because of the untreated nature of the beech wood, the wood may react to changes in humidity. Check the straightness regularly by placing the ruler against a known straight edge, so you can always be sure of accurate measurements.
