What does a wooden ruler do and when do you need one?

You use a ruler for measuring distances and drawing straight lines. This wooden version from M+R is ideal for technical drawing, schoolwork and hobby projects where you need precise measurements. The natural material feels pleasant in the hand and gives you more control than plastic alternatives.

Why choose this 17 cm size?

At a length of 17 centimetres, this ruler fits perfectly in pencil cases, pencil boxes and school bags without sticking out. The size is large enough for most measuring and drawing tasks, yet compact enough to always have to hand. For daily use at school or in the office, this is the ideal size.

Advantages of untreated beech wood

This ruler is made of untreated beech wood, which gives it a natural look and durability. Beech is sturdy enough to last for years, while its light weight makes it comfortable to use. The untreated finish preserves the authentic character of the wood.

Practical measuring precision with millimetre graduations

The mm graduations on this ruler give you the precision needed for accurate work. You can measure distances to the nearest millimetre, which is essential for technical drawing or for projects where exact dimensions matter. The clear scale makes reading it simple and reliable.
