When do you need a fountain pen for beginners?
A fountain pen such as the Pelikan Pelikano junior is specially developed for children and young people who are learning to write with a fountain pen. You choose this type of fountain pen when your child makes the transition from pencil or ballpoint pen to a proper fountain pen, usually around primary school age.

Why specifically for right-handers?
This fountain pen is designed for right-handed writers. The ergonomic grip and the way the pen sits in the hand are adapted to the natural writing posture of right-handers. This ensures a more comfortable writing experience and helps to develop good writing technique.

What does nib A mean for your writing style?
The nib width A stands for a broad nib that draws a thicker line than standard fountain pens. This is ideal for beginner fountain pen users because the wider line is more visible and mistakes are easier to correct. The stainless steel nib with iridium tip ensures a smooth writing experience that does not scratch the paper.

Practical details for everyday use
The pen has an ergonomic Soft-Griffzone that keeps your fingers in the right place while writing. Thanks to the roll-off protection on the barrel, the pen will not roll off your desk. The included name label can be used to personalise the pen, which is handy at school to avoid confusion with other pens.
