What does a stamp pad do and when do you need one?
A stamp pad ensures that your hand stamps are supplied with enough ink to make clear impressions. You need this product when you regularly stamp documents, for example for approvals, date stamps or company stamps. The pad contains special stamp ink that dries slowly and gives consistent results.

Why choose size Gr. 1 with these dimensions?
This Pelikan stamp pad measures 160×90 mm, which corresponds to the standard Size 1 format. This size is ideal for most office stamps and offers enough surface area to properly ink even larger stamp rubbers. The format is compact enough for desk use but large enough for professional stamping work.

Advantage of the metal housing
This stamp pad comes in a metal housing, which provides extra durability compared to plastic variants. The metal construction protects the pad better against damage and ensures the product lasts longer under intensive use. The metal lid also closes more tightly, so the ink dries out less quickly.

Practical tip for use and maintenance
Make sure you always close the lid properly after use to prevent the ink from drying out. The red stamp pad is suitable for standard documents where a clear, red impression is required. If the pad gradually delivers less ink, you can re-ink it with special stamp ink to extend its service life.
