What does an ink pad do and when do you need one?
An ink pad is indispensable for inking rubber stamps in office environments, administrative departments or when working from home. You need one when you regularly have to stamp documents for approval, dating or other administrative markings. The Pelikan ink pad no. 3 supplies the black ink needed to make clear, easy-to-read impressions.

Why choose size no. 3 at 70×50 mm?
This size is ideal for medium to larger stamps that require a greater ink surface. The 70×50 mm format offers enough room for stamps with multiple lines of text or wider designs. You choose this size when small ink pads are too limited for your stamp size, but you don't yet need the largest variant.

Benefit of the metal housing
The metal housing provides a sturdy construction that withstands daily use in busy offices. This material prevents the pad from slipping during stamping and holds the ink better than plastic alternatives. Metal also keeps its shape longer, which is important for consistent stamp quality over an extended period.

Practical tip for optimal use
This ink pad works best with rubber stamps that fit within the 70×50 mm size. Always store the pad with the lid firmly closed to prevent the black ink from drying out. For the best results, press the stamp lightly onto the pad a few times before stamping the document, so the ink is spread evenly.
