What are refillable water brushes and when do you need them?
Refillable water brushes are handy drawing tools with a built-in water reservoir in the handle. You fill them once with water and can then start drawing straight away without a separate water pot. They are ideal for watercolour techniques, watercolour paint, ink blending and sketching on the go.

Why this set of 3 different tip sizes?
This Pentel Aquash set contains three brushes in the sizes B (broad), F (fine) and M (medium). This gives you the right brush width for every technique: from fine details to broad areas of colour. You don't need to buy several separate brushes and you immediately have a complete basis for different effects.

Advantage of the nylon bristle tip
The brushes have a high-quality, shape-retaining nylon bristle tip. This means the tip keeps its shape, even after intensive use. Nylon is more durable than natural hair and retains its elasticity for longer, so your brushes keep their precision for years.

Practical tip for optimal use
Don't fill the water reservoir completely when you start – this prevents too much water from coming out. Gently squeezing the handle controls the water flow. Store the brushes upright or lying down, but make sure the tip is not pressed down. After use, you can empty the reservoir and rinse it out ready for next time.
