What does an erasable gel pen do?
The PILOT FriXion Ball gel pen combines the writing comfort of a gel pen with the ability to erase your text completely. Thanks to the unique thermo-sensitive ink, you can correct mistakes by simply rubbing over the text with the eraser on the back. This makes the pen ideal for situations where you want to be able to edit your text without crossing things out or using correction fluid.

Why choose the 0.35 mm variant?
With a line width of 0.35 mm, this FriXion Ball produces a fine line that is perfect for detailed writing and small handwriting. This width offers a good balance between precision and legibility, so you can write clearly both in small boxes and on ordinary paper without the text becoming too thick or too thin.

How does the eraser work?
Erasing is achieved through frictional heat, which temporarily makes the special ink formula invisible. The ink disappears completely without leaving any residue on the paper. Please note that extreme heat (for example, in a car on a warm day) can cause your text to fade, and that erased text may temporarily become visible again at freezing temperatures.

Practical considerations when using it
This blue FriXion Ball is perfect for everyday office use, but avoid using it for important documents that must be kept permanently. Due to its temperature-sensitive properties, the pen is less suitable for contracts or official forms where permanent ink is required.
