What does an erasable rollerball pen do?
The PILOT Frixion Ball is a rollerball pen with unique erasable ink that you can rub out with the eraser on the back of the pen. This pen is ideal when you make notes that you want to correct or adjust later, such as during brainstorming sessions, planning or administrative tasks. The erasable feature makes this pen perfect for situations where you need flexibility.

Why choose the 0.7 mm variant?
This 0.7 mm variant offers a good balance between writing comfort and line width. The 0.7 mm ball diameter results in a clearly legible line that is suitable for both detailed notes and everyday writing. The tip is sturdy enough for daily use and fine enough for precise annotations.

How does the erasable technology work?
The thermosensitive ink of the Frixion Ball disappears through frictional heat when you use the special eraser. This means you can correct mistakes immediately without crossing out or using correction fluid. The ink remains permanently on paper until you deliberately decide to erase it, which ensures reliability in your notes.

Practical considerations when using
Please note that erased text may become visible again at temperatures below -10°C. Therefore, do not store documents containing Frixion text in very cold environments. For permanent documents such as contracts or official forms, it is better to choose a regular rollerball pen. The red colour also makes this pen suitable for highlighting important points or corrections.
