When do you need a gel pen with a retractable mechanism?
Gel pens combine the advantages of ballpoint pens and felt-tip pens: they write smoothly without pressing hard, and produce a rich, even line. You choose a gel pen when you write a lot by hand, take notes or sign documents where legibility and comfort matter. The retractable mechanism means you can never lose the cap.

Why choose a 0.7 mm writing width?
The 0.7 mm tip produces a line width of 0.32 mm, which is ideal for everyday use. This thickness is wide enough to write legibly, but not so broad that it becomes messy in small handwriting or on forms with limited writing space. It is a versatile choice, suitable for both office work and personal use.

Metallic gold for special moments
The metallic gold ink stands out without being garish. This colour is perfect for signing important documents, making notes that deserve extra attention, or for creative projects. The metallic finish gives your handwriting a refined and professional look that particularly shows up well on white paper.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store the pen horizontally so that the gel ink stays evenly distributed and the pen is always ready to write. The retractable mechanism with reference code BL-G2-7-GD makes this pen part of the well-known PILOT G2 series, which means you can easily find refills when the ink runs low. Always test the pen on a scrap sheet of paper before signing important documents.
