When do you need a ballpoint refill?
You use a ballpoint refill when your favourite ballpoint pen has run out but the writing instrument itself still works perfectly well. Instead of buying a new pen, you simply replace the ink cartridge. This is economical and sustainable, especially with high-quality pens that you want to keep using.

Which PILOT pens is this refill suitable for?
This refill has been specifically developed for PILOT ballpoint pens of the models BP-S, BPS-GP, BPE-GP and SUPERGRIP G. You can only use these cartridges in these specific pen types, so always check the model of your pen before ordering. Other PILOT ballpoint models may require a different refill.

What does the 0.22 mm line width mean?
The line width of 0.22 mm gives a fine line that is suitable for detailed writing and small handwriting. This thickness falls into the "fine point" category and is ideal when you need to write a lot of text in limited space. The ink is also document-proof, meaning your text won't fade and is suitable for official documents.

Practical tip for replacing
When ordering, pay attention to the different article numbers: the new code is 524523 (RFN-GG-F-B), but you may also come across the old codes 138645 (RFJ-GP) or 2115001. These refer to the same product. Always keep a spare refill on hand so you can carry on writing straight away when your pen runs out.
