What does an erasable pen do, and when do you need one?
An erasable rollerball pen such as the PILOT FRIXION POINT combines the writing comfort of a regular rollerball with the ability to erase your text completely. This is ideal when you are making notes you may want to revise later, writing drafts, or working on documents where mistakes need to be avoided. The eraser function works through heat: the ink becomes invisible without leaving any paper residue.

Why choose the 0.25 mm version?
With a line width of 0.25 mm, this pen produces a very fine line that is perfect for detailed writing. This narrow line width is ideal for small handwriting, making precise notes in tight margins, or filling in forms where little space is available. You get a neat, professional look in your documents.

How does the erasable technology work?
The FRIXION POINT has an eraser tip at the back end of the pen, a friction tip you can use to rub away the text you have written. The friction heat makes the blue ink disappear completely from the paper. The great advantage is that you don't need a separate eraser, and the paper stays smooth without any damage or eraser crumbs.

Practical tip for long-term use
This rollerball pen is refillable, which means you don't have to throw away the whole pen when the ink runs out. You can simply insert a new refill, which is economical with regular use. Do note, however, that erased text can become visible again in extreme cold, so keep important documents at room temperature.
