What does a FRIXION POINT rollerball pen do?
This refillable rollerball pen from PILOT works with special thermosensitive ink that you can erase by rubbing over the text with the eraser at the end of the pen. You need this pen when you want to write with the ability to correct mistakes easily, without correction fluid or crossing out.

Why choose a 0.25 mm line width?
The 0.25 mm tip produces an extra-fine line, ideal for detailed work compared with thicker versions. Use this size when you are making precise notes, filling in forms or drawing detailed pictures where accuracy matters.

How does erasing work?
The eraser at the end of the barrel generates heat through friction, which makes the thermosensitive ink invisible. The erased area remains completely smooth, with no paper residue as with ordinary erasers. You can write over the same spot again without it being visible.

Practical tip for long-term use
This rollerball pen is refillable, which means you can insert new refills when the ink runs out. Store the pen at normal room temperature, as extreme heat can cause your text to temporarily disappear. The purple colour makes the pen easy to spot among other stationery.
