What does this gel pen do?
The PILOT FRIXION BALL is a gel pen that you can erase by means of friction. This makes it ideal for situations where you regularly need to make corrections, such as when filling in forms, taking notes during meetings or working on drafts that may still change.

Why this 0.35 mm line width?
With a line width of 0.35 mm, you get a fine, precise line that is perfect for detailed writing. This width is thinner than standard pens, so you can fit more text on a page and your handwriting looks neater. It is the ideal choice if you have to write in small boxes a lot or if you want a sleek, professional look.

How does the erasing principle work?
The erasable ink is made invisible by friction - you simply rub the eraser at the back of the pen over the text. The ink disappears completely without leaving any residue on the paper. This happens through a thermochemical reaction in which the ink becomes colourless when heated by friction.

Practical tip for use
Please note that erased text can become visible again at extreme cold (for example in the freezer). Therefore, store documents written with FRIXION ink at room temperature. The sky blue colour is easy to read and professional, but always test whether the colour is suitable for official documents before filling them in permanently.
