What does a pigment marker do?
A pigment marker such as the POSCA PC-5M is ideal for creating opaque, colourful markings on almost any surface. Unlike ordinary felt-tip pens, this type of marker uses pigment ink that remains clearly visible even on dark backgrounds. You can use this marker for labelling cardboard, glass, metal, plastic and even porous materials.

Why choose the round tip of 1.8–2.5 mm?
The round tip with a line width between 1.8 and 2.5 mm gives you the perfect balance between precision and coverage. This tip shape is versatile, as you can draw fine details as well as colour in larger areas. The PC-5M size falls in the medium category and is therefore suitable for both detailed work and eye-catching text.

Opacity of pigment ink
The great advantage of this POSCA marker is the excellent opacity of the pigment ink. The dark blue colour stands out clearly even on light backgrounds and does not fade quickly. Once dry, the ink is waterproof and gives a matt finish that looks professional.

Practical usage tip
Always shake the marker well before use and activate the tip by pressing it several times on a test surface until the ink flows evenly. Store the marker horizontally and close the cap tightly to prevent it from drying out. The PC-5M model is recognisable by its reference code PC-5M BF and fits perfectly with other POSCA markers from the same series.
