When do you need a mechanical pencil?
A mechanical pencil is indispensable for precision drawings, technical sketches and situations where you constantly need a sharp point. Unlike ordinary pencils, you never have to sharpen it and you always get a consistent line width of 0.7 mm.

Why choose the 0.7 mm lead diameter?
The 0.7 mm lead offers the ideal balance between precision and sturdiness. This diameter is thick enough not to break easily during normal use, yet still thin enough for accurate work. It is the most versatile choice for both writing and drawing.

Durable construction with metal parts
The Rotring Tikky mechanical pencil features a chrome-plated, rigid lead sleeve that withstands intensive use. The metal clip, push button and tip ensure that the pencil lasts for years, even with daily use in the office or during studies.

Comfort during prolonged use
The rubber, ergonomic grip zone prevents your fingers from slipping and reduces fatigue during long periods of drawing or writing. The colour code helps you quickly identify the right pencil when working with multiple lead sizes. Store your mechanical pencil with the clip facing up in a pen holder to protect the tip.
