This is why Dex likes this article
Deep, opaque lamp black with which you effortlessly build up shadows and contrasts. The oil paint mixes finely with other colours, so you get exactly the shade you're looking for on the canvas.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need oil paint?
Oil paint is used for paintings where you want to work slowly and mix colours thoroughly. Thanks to the long drying time, you can keep working on the same piece for hours or even days without the paint drying out. This makes oil paint ideal for realistic portraits, landscapes and other detailed artworks where you need time to develop your work.
Why choose 200 ml tubes?
The 200 ml size is suitable when you paint regularly or often use lamp black in your work. Lamp black is a commonly used colour for mixes, shadows and details, so you get through smaller tubes more quickly. With this larger tube, you have enough stock for several paintings without having to buy new tubes all the time.
Vegetable oils as a base
This oil paint is made with vegetable oils and pigments, which ensures good mixing properties. You can easily combine lamp black with other colours to create different shades of grey and dark mixes.
Practical storage tip for aluminium tubes
Store the tube upright with the cap screwed on tightly to prevent it from drying out. Because of its dark pigment, lamp black can quickly affect other colours, so clean your brushes and palette thoroughly after use. The aluminium tube protects the paint from light and air, but make sure no paint residue remains on the thread.

Dex knows - user tips
Don't simply throw leftover paint and empty tubes in the normal rubbish or down the drain — this paint is harmful to aquatic organisms. Take them to a collection point for chemical waste.
