This flat Van Gogh brush applies your paint beautifully evenly, thanks to the fine synthetic bristles that are firm enough for both oil and acrylic paint. The seamless brass ferrule provides stability, while the long lacquered handle sits comfortably in your hand during long painting sessions.
When do you choose this product?
When should you use a flat brush for oil and acrylic?
A flat brush is indispensable for artists working with oil and acrylic paints. You use this type of brush when you want to fill large areas, draw straight lines or create sharp edges. The flat surface allows you to spread paint evenly across the canvas.
Why choose size 12?
Size 12 offers you a good middle ground between detail and surface area. This size is ideal for medium-sized areas and gives you sufficient control for both broad and more refined painting techniques. The brush is large enough for efficient working, but not so large that you lose sight of the fine details.
Gold-coloured polyester fibres as a practical choice
This brush has gold-coloured polyester fibres specially developed for use with both oil and acrylic paints. Polyester is more durable than natural hair and retains its shape better after repeated use. The fibres are fine enough for an even paint application and strong enough to handle the thicker consistency of oil paint.
Durable construction with seamless brass ferrule
The seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the bristles stay firmly in place without falling out while you paint. The long, lacquered handle gives you optimal grip and control, especially with larger canvases where you need to work at a distance. Always store the brush horizontally after use to preserve the shape of the bristles.
