When do you need a black sketchbook?
This SAKURA sketchbook is ideal for drawing with a variety of media, including graphite pencil, coloured pencils, charcoal, oil pastels, sketch pens and charcoal. The black paper of 140 g/m² offers a unique drawing experience in which you develop your artwork on a dark background.

Why choose this size?
The handy compact size fits easily in your bag, backpack or jacket pocket, so you can always sketch on the go. This is perfect for quick sketches, idea development and daily drawing studies. You can take it anywhere without it taking up much space.

Benefits of the hardcover finish
The black hardcover effectively protects your drawings against creases and moisture. The sturdy cover means you can also draw without a surface, for example standing up or on the train. The acid-free paper prevents your artworks from discoloring or being damaged over time.

Practical details for everyday use
The elastic closure keeps the book neatly shut and prevents pages from turning over in your bag. The pen loop on the side holds one pen or pencil, so you can always start drawing straight away. In the pocket inside the cover you can store loose sheets, business cards or inspiration material.
