What does a waste toner container do?
A waste toner container catches excess toner that is released during the printing process of colour laser and multifunction printers. Without this container, the residual toner would remain in your printer, which can lead to poor print quality and damage to internal components. This waste toner container is specifically designed for Samsung CLP and CLX printer models.

Which printers is this container suitable for?
This SU430A waste toner container works with the Samsung CLP-310N, CLP-315, CLP-315W and the CLX-3170, CLX-3170FN, CLX-3175FN, CLX-3175FW and CLX-3175N models. It is the successor to the older CLT-W409 model, so if your printer previously used that reference, you can install this SU430A version without any problems.

When should you replace the waste toner container?
Your printer will display a message when the waste toner container is full and needs replacing. This usually happens after several thousand prints, depending on your printing habits. Do not ignore this message, as a full waste toner container can lead to toner smudges on your documents and internal contamination of your printer.

Practical installation tip
Always check the exact model of your Samsung printer before purchasing, either via the settings menu or on the type plate. The SU430A is only compatible with the models mentioned above. Keep the packaging until after installation, in case you wish to return the old waste toner container to a collection point for recycling printer parts.
