When do you need a fibre optic patch cable?
A fibre optic patch cable is used to connect network equipment together in professional network environments. You need this cable when you want to achieve high data speeds over longer distances without loss of signal quality. Fibre optic cables are indispensable in data centres, server rooms and network cabinets where reliable connections are crucial.

Why choose OM5 multimode?
OM5 is the latest generation of multimode fibre, specially designed for modern data transmission. This variant supports short wave division multiplexing (SWDM) and wideband multimode technology, allowing you to send multiple signals simultaneously over a single fibre. This makes OM5 future-proof for growing network needs and higher bandwidth requirements.

Impressive data speed of 400 Gbit/s
This Shiverpeaks cable can handle data speeds of up to 400 Gbit/s, making it suitable for the most demanding network applications. The 50/125μm core ensures optimal light transmission with minimal loss. The duplex configuration means you can send and receive simultaneously via a single cable connection, enabling efficient use of ports.

Easy identification with colour coding
The light green cable sheath helps you organise your network infrastructure. You can easily distinguish between different cable types, which prevents errors during installation. The grey SC connectors made of ABS material provide durable connections that withstand regular plugging and unplugging. With a length of 10 metres, you have sufficient reach for most rack-to-rack connections.
