What does this network cable do?
A Cat. 6A network cable connects your computer, router, switch or other network equipment. You use this cable when you want to link devices together for internet access, file transfer or network access. The cable is 5.0 metres long.

Why Cat. 6A with S/FTP shielding?
With S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair), each wire pair is shielded with foil, and the whole is shielded once more. The shielding of this cable consists of 0.025 mm aluminium foil and 80 x 0.12 mm.

Materials and construction
This cable has copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 connectors. The AWG 26/7 construction means that each conductor consists of 7 strands.

Practical features for everyday use
The orange colour makes the cable easy to recognise in your network configuration, which is handy when maintaining your network installation. The cable is wired according to TIA/EIA 568B and is halogen-free.
