Need to extend your network cable without losing speed? This Cat 8.1 extension reaches up to 40 Gbit/s, and the double shield keeps interference at bay. Thanks to the kink protection and gold-plated connectors, it will last you a long time.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a network cable extension?
A network cable extension is useful when your existing network connection is too short to reach your device. This often happens when moving computers, switches or other network equipment without wanting to re-run the entire cabling.
Why Cat 8.1 for professional applications?
This Cat 8.1 cable is suitable for the most demanding network environments where you need maximum performance. With support for 40 Gbit/s data transmission and a bandwidth of 2,000 MHz, this cable significantly exceeds the capabilities of standard Cat 6 or Cat 6a cables.
Double shielding for stable connections
The S/FTP construction with double shielding ensures that electromagnetic interference from outside cannot affect your network connection. This is especially important in environments with a lot of electrical equipment or where multiple cables run close together, such as in server cabinets or office environments.
Practical details for daily use
This 1 metre extension has gold-plated connectors with strain relief and latch protection, so the connections are protected against damage from frequent plugging and unplugging. The black colour is inconspicuous in professional environments, and the 6 mm cable diameter provides good flexibility when routing through cable trays.
