When do you need a Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable?
A patch cable is used to connect network equipment to one another, such as computers, switches, routers or printers. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for fast internet connections and data transmission up to 250 MHz. You need this cable when you want reliable network connections in office environments or at home.

Why choose a length of 7.5 metres?
At 7.5 metres, you have enough length to connect devices that are positioned a little further apart, for example between different rooms or from your desk to a switch in another corner of the room. This length offers flexibility without unnecessary excess cable that creates clutter.

Benefits of S/FTP shielding
The S/FTP shielding consists of aluminium foil 0.025 mm thick and provides protection against electromagnetic interference. This means your signal remains more stable, even in environments with lots of other electronic equipment. The gold-plated contact surfaces ensure optimal conductivity and prevent corrosion.

Practical features
This cable has RJ45 connectors with an enlarged housing, so the connections are better protected against damage. The yellow design makes the cable easy to see, which is handy for distinguishing between different connections. The cable is halogen-free, which is important for fire safety in office environments.
