What does a Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable do?
A Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers to one another. You need this cable when you want a reliable, fast internet connection between devices in your office or home working environment. The cable ensures stable data transmission without interference.

Why choose a 3 metre length?
With 3 metres you have sufficient cable length for most office setups without excess cable that becomes messy. This length is ideal for connections between your workstation and a nearby router, switch or wall socket. You can position equipment flexibly without the cable being under tension.

Advantages of S/FTP shielding
The S/FTP shielding with 0.025 mm aluminium foil protects against electromagnetic interference from other devices in the vicinity. This prevents your internet connection from being disrupted by, for example, microwave ovens, cordless telephones or other electronics. The gold-plated contact surfaces ensure optimal contact and prevent corrosion.

Compatibility and performance
This patch cable is suitable for all standard network equipment with RJ45 connections and supports frequencies up to 250 MHz. The halogen-free composition is safer in the event of fire, as no toxic gases are released.
