What does a Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable do?
A patch cable connects your computer, laptop or other network equipment to your router, switch or network point. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for fast internet connections and data transfer within your office network. The S/FTP version means the cable has extra protection against interference from other electronic devices.

Why choose a length of 7.5 metres?
With 7.5 metres you have enough cable length to connect equipment at a distance without the cable being pulled taut. This length is ideal for connections within an office space, for example from your desk to a centrally located router or from a printer to the network. You don't need to worry about signal loss at this distance.

Reliable connection thanks to shielding
The S/FTP shielding with aluminium foil protects your network signal against electromagnetic interference from other office equipment such as printers, copiers or fluorescent lighting. The gold-plated contact surfaces ensure a stable connection that does not corrode. With 250 MHz bandwidth, you can benefit from fast internet connections and file transfers.

Practical tip for installation
Before you order, check whether your equipment has RJ45 connections – these are the standard ethernet ports you will find on almost all computers and network equipment. The moulded cable ends make the cable sturdier and less susceptible to damage. Don't run the cable parallel to power cables to prevent interference, even though this cable has good shielding.
