What does a Cat. 6 patch cable do?
A Cat. 6 patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers to one another. You need this cable when you want to set up reliable internet connections in offices or home working situations. The Cat. 6 standard ensures stable data transfer at higher speeds than older cable types.

Why this 7.5 metre length?
At 7.5 metres, you have sufficient reach for most office layouts without unnecessary excess cable. This length is ideal when you need to connect equipment located in different corners of a room, or when you need to route cables neatly along walls. The green colour helps with organising different network connections.

Professional protection against interference
This S/FTP cable has double shielding: aluminium foil of 0.025 mm and a braid of 80 x 0.12 mm wires. This construction prevents external electromagnetic fields from disrupting your network connection. The PIMF system (Pairs in Metal Foil) ensures that each wire pair is individually shielded, contributing to a stable connection.

Compatibility and connections
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts, which prevent corrosion and guarantee a long-lasting connection. The moulded boots protect the connectors against mechanical damage. This cable works with all standard network ports and supports frequencies up to 250 MHz. The halogen-free material makes the cable suitable for use in office spaces where fire safety is important.
