When do you need a Cat. 6 patch cable?
A patch cable is used to connect network components to each other, such as computers, routers, switches or printers. This Cat. 6 version is suitable for modern networks where you need reliable data transmission up to 250 MHz. You choose a patch cable when you want to connect devices to your network or replace existing connections.

Why this 7.50 metre length?
With 7.50 metres, you have sufficient cable length for connections over somewhat greater distances without unnecessary cable surplus. This length is practical for office environments where you need to connect devices in different corners of a room, or when cables need to run along walls or under desks. It prevents you from having to join several shorter cables together.

Advantages of S/FTP shielding
This cable has S/FTP shielding with aluminium foil 0.025 mm thick, which effectively blocks electromagnetic interference. The copper conductors and gold-plated contact surfaces ensure stable signal transmission. The halogen-free material makes the cable suitable for use in environments where fire safety is important.

Note compatibility
The RJ45 connectors with boot-cover fit all standard network ports. Do check whether your network equipment supports Cat. 6 in order to make optimal use of the 250 MHz bandwidth. The red colour helps with identifying and organising different network connections in complex installations.
