When do you use a Cat. 6A patch cable?
You use a Cat. 6A patch cable to connect network components such as computers, switches or routers when you need very high speeds. This cable is suitable for professional network environments where reliable data transmission up to 500 MHz is crucial. You choose Cat. 6A when you want future-proof connections that can also handle the latest network standards.

Why S/FTP shielding matters
The S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) construction provides double protection against electromagnetic interference. The aluminium foil and the braided screen of 80 x 0.12 mm ensure that external signals cannot disrupt your network connection. This makes this cable particularly suitable for office environments with a lot of electronic equipment or in buildings where multiple networks are active.

The benefits of gold-plated connectors
The RJ45 connectors are made of CuZnNi material with a gold-plated finish. This plating prevents corrosion and ensures optimal contact between the plug and port. The copper alloy in the conductors guarantees good conductivity, while the AWG 27/7 PVC cable construction ensures flexibility without loss of quality.

Practical use of a 1 metre length
With a length of 1.0 metre, this patch cable is ideal for short connections within server cabinets, between desktop and switch, or for connections in compact network setups. This prevents unnecessary cable lengths that cause clutter, while still providing enough room for a neat and flexible arrangement of your network components.
