When do you need a short network cable?
A 0.5 metre patch cable is used for very short network connections where space is limited. This cable is ideal for connecting devices in a server rack, linking a switch to a router, or connecting network components that stand directly next to each other. Thanks to its short length, you avoid unnecessary cable clutter and keep your workspace tidy.

Why Cat. 6A for fast connections?
This patch cable meets the Cat. 6A standard and supports frequencies up to 500 MHz. As a result, you can achieve stable network connections up to 10 Gigabit per second, which is essential for modern business networks with high data transfer. The cable is suitable for both current and future network equipment that requires higher speeds.

Effective protection against interference
The S/FTP shielding combines both aluminium foil and a copper braid of 80 x 0.12 mm around the cable pairs. This double protection ensures that electromagnetic interference from outside is blocked and that the cable itself does not cause interference with other devices. This is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment.

Practical connection details
The cable has RJ45 connectors at both ends with gold-plated contacts made of CuZnNi material, which resists corrosion and guarantees long-lasting reliability. The yellow colour makes it easy to identify this cable among other network connections. The AWG 27/7 copper mix in the wires gives you a good balance between flexibility and signal integrity.
