When do you need a Cat. 7 patch cable?
A Cat. 7 patch cable is used to connect network equipment such as computers, switches and routers in professional network environments. This cable is essential when you need reliable data transmission for business applications or when you want to connect network equipment directly to one another.

Why choose a 1.0 metre length?
The length of 1.0 metre is ideal for short connections within a server rack, between network equipment on your desk or in compact network cabinets. This length prevents unnecessary cable clutter and ensures a tidy setup without the cable being too short for the required connection.

S/FTP shielding for stable connections
This patch cable features S/FTP shielding with 0.025 mm thick aluminium foil and wire braid shielding. This protects your network connection against electromagnetic interference from other devices in the vicinity. The gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure optimal contact and prevent corrosion, which is especially important in professional environments where reliability is crucial.

Compatibility and technical details
This cable works up to 600 MHz and has AWG 26/7 copper cores with PIMF construction. The TIA/EIA 568B wiring makes it compatible with standard network equipment. The cable is halogen-free, which is important for installations in buildings where fire safety is a consideration.
