What does a Cat6 patch cable do?
A patch cable connects your devices to the network, such as computers to routers or switches. Cat6 cables are suitable for fast internet connections and local networks up to 250 MHz. You need this type of cable when you want reliable network connections over longer distances or in environments with a lot of electronic equipment.

Why choose a 10-metre length?
With 10 metres you have enough length to connect devices that are further apart, for example between different rooms or from a router in the meter cupboard to your workstation. This length offers flexibility when setting up your network without having to couple several shorter cables.

S/FTP shielding for stable connections
This cable has S/FTP shielding with 0.025 mm thick aluminium foil, which counteracts interference from other electronic devices. The copper conductors with AWG 27/7 specification and gold-plated contact surfaces ensure optimal signal transmission. This is especially important in office environments where many devices are active at the same time.

Practical details for use
The cable has RJ45 connectors with enlarged boots at both ends, which protect the connectors from damage. The halogen-free material makes the cable suitable for use in buildings with strict safety requirements. The red colour helps distinguish different network connections in your installation.
