When do you need a patch cable?
You use a patch cable to connect network components to each other in a network infrastructure. This cable has S/FTP shielding, which is designed to limit interference from outside. This can come in handy when you connect equipment in an environment with electromagnetic interference.

Why choose a length of 20 metres?
With 20 metres, you can bridge distances within offices, server rooms or between different floors. This length gives you extra room for installations where standard short cables fall short.

S/FTP shielding
This cable has S/FTP shielding with 0.025 mm aluminium foil and a PIMF design. The shielding is designed to limit electromagnetic interference. The gold-plated RJ45 plugs ensure a good connection.

Compatibility and practical tips
The cable has RJ45 plugs at both ends and is wired according to TIA/EIA 568B. The copper AWG 26/7 conductor material makes the cable suitable for use with network equipment. When laying the cable, be sure to avoid sharp bends.
