This Shiverpeaks optical cable connects devices with USB-C ports over a distance of 3 metres. You need this type of cable when you have to transfer data between devices that are further apart than a standard cable allows, for example between your laptop and external devices on the other side of your desk. USB 3.2 Gen 2 is inherently limited to short distances; with this hybrid cable, longer distances are possible.

Fast data transfer and charging in one cable
This cable supports transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s thanks to USB 3.2 Gen 2 (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps). In addition, the cable supports charging via PowerDelivery 3.0 with up to 60W power (20V/3A). Not all USB-C devices support the 60W fast-charging capacity or the 10 Gbit/s data transfer. Please check with your device manufacturer.
