This shiverpeaks USB 3.2 cable connects two devices with USB-C ports over a distance of 7 metres. The cable combines copper with optical fibres (POF) for data transmission up to 10 Gbit/s. You need this cable when your devices are further apart than a standard USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable allows, which according to the manufacturer is limited to short distances.

At a length of 7 metres, you bridge the distance between two USB-C devices that are further apart.
PowerDelivery 3.0 for simultaneous charging
In addition to data transfer, this cable supports PowerDelivery 3.0 up to 60W (20V/3A). This allows you to transfer data and charge your device at the same time through the same cable, provided the device supports it. Please note: not all USB-C devices support the 60-watt fast-charging capacity or the data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s. Check with your device manufacturer for this.
Plug & Play with USB 3.2 Gen 2
The cable works on the Plug & Play principle. You connect it to devices with a USB-C port that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (SuperSpeed). According to the manufacturer, the cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and compatible with, among others, Hi-Speed USB, SuperSpeed USB, USB4 and Thunderbolt 3/4.
