This Shiverpeaks USB 3.2 cable connects devices with USB-C ports over a distance of 7 metres. You can transfer data at speeds up to 10 Gbit/s, while the cable also supports PowerDelivery 3.0 up to 60W. This makes it suitable for both data transfer and charging devices with USB-C that support Power Delivery.
Why choose a 7-metre length with a 90° connector?
The 7-metre length bridges a greater distance between devices, for example in an office. The 90-degree angled connector can be useful for devices that stand against a wall or are placed in tight spaces.
Stable signal transmission over long distances
The cable is made with copper and POF (Plastic Optical Fibre) cores. Please note: according to the manufacturer, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) is limited to short distances. Over 7 metres, the speed of 10 Gbit/s is therefore not guaranteed.
Plug & Play with USB 3.2 Gen 2
The cable works to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed standard and is Plug & Play. You simply connect it. Not all devices with USB-C support 10 Gbit/s or 60W Power Delivery; please check with the manufacturer of your device. The cable is not suitable for docking stations with video support, as the DP Alternate Mode for video signals is not supported.
