When do you need a fountain pen for learning to write?
This STABILO EASYbuddy is specially developed as a learn-to-write fountain pen for children who are just starting to write with a fountain pen. The pen helps with the transition from pencil to fountain pen thanks to its light writing action and ergonomic design. You choose this model when your child is ready for a "real" pen but still needs support in developing the right writing posture.

Ergonomic design for relaxed writing
The fountain pen has a soft-grip zone made of non-slip material that sits comfortably in the hand and helps find a comfortable writing posture. This prevents cramped hands and encourages a relaxed pen grip from the start.

Reliable Iridium pen with medium nib width
The pen has a medium (M) Iridium nib that is replaceable, so the fountain pen will last a long time. The Iridium material ensures durability and even ink flow. The medium nib width is ideal for beginner fountain pen writers because it is not too fine and is therefore easier to control. The pen is leak-proof, so you don't need to worry about ink stains in bags or pencil cases.

Practical features for everyday use
The transparent viewing window lets you always see how much ink is left in the pen, so you're never caught off guard. The fountain pen comes with one royal blue ink cartridge, so you can start writing right away. Replacement cartridges are readily available, so you can keep using the pen for years.
